2011 Nissan Murano – Up Close

Nissan’s cars have always been talked about, mostly for the right reasons. Nissan seems to have done a lot of groundwork and put in a lot of thought into their cars, which is why most of them have done exceedingly well. The Murano is a prime example.

The 2011 Murano excels primarily due to its stylish appearance enhanced performance. This is what most people look for when they buy, so thus far Nissan seems to have scored a home run. Its seating is elevated making it more comfortable, and the interiors and roomy and very comfortable. Unlike many cars in this segment, the Murano swaps straight lines for curves which have given in a more stylish look and feel. This has also been instrumental in adding to the space factor inside the car.

There can be no complaints with the performance on the road. While this car is definitely not for rugged rock climbing or the likes, it glides on the road effortlessly. The powerful V6 engine, 248 pound-feet torque combined with a 265 horsepower make this a strong car which has great potential. A combination on the V6 with the CVT makes this an added plus for the car.

There are three levels of the 2011 Nissan Murano available. The base S model has its own set of features, which include climate control and a six CD changer. While the SL model has not been able to incorporate any significant changes, the top end LE brings in almost every conceivable element your car would need. The only downside of the Murano is the poor visibility towards the rear, and also the fuel economy which that car has not really been able to score on.
